Tap at Billie’s, on Friday. Extremely sweet yet still got flavouring-tang, super artificial, drinks like a wannabe Omnipollo, which is a questionable target by itself.

10 November 2023. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Thanks to tderoeck for sharing today's beers - cheers to so many more!
Black. Cherry liqueur, cassis, marzipan, praliné. Sweet cherry, strawberry, brambleberry, almond; pralines. Fruity finish, 'perfumey' chocolate and strawberry liqueur. Oily texture. Doesn't really work.

10/XI/23 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival (Antwerp), Day 1 - part 1, BB: n/a (2023-933) Thanks to NathanVC for sharing today’s beers!
A little cloudy dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, unstable, a little adhesive. Aroma: all strawberry jam, sweet impression, a little dirty, some vanilla, lactose maybe? MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of strawberry jam up front, pretty sweet, lactose touch, lots of vanilla, soft roast. Aftertaste: sweet and sugary, strawberry jam, lots of vanilla, decent beer!

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy dark brown with small beige head. Artificial strawberry, some mild cocoa, okay. Novelty beer, could be more integrated.

440mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Nose is full of strawberry extract, a hint of cocoa, and muddled earthiness. Flavour is really artificial, with strawberry extract, fake cocoa, and earthiness. Muddled, lots of rather artificial strawberry, and plenty of sweetness on the finish. Not good at all.

Keg at Blind Tiger, Peterborough. Pours black with a tan cap. Aroma prominent vanilla, chocolate, sugar, jammy red berries. Taste: Heavy sweet & moderate bitter, overpowering vanilla, chocolate, cream, berry syrup. Ice cream like vibes. Medium to full body with fine carbonation. Way too much vanilla for me!

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 01/07/23. Black with a khaki head that dissipates edgewards. Nose is sweet red berries, chocolate, vanilla, sugars, strawberry jam, icing sugar. Taste comprises chocolate melt, vanilla, raspberry jam, icing sugar, Victoria sponge. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Fun pastry if a touch on the sweet side for me ... gets that Neapolitan ice cream flavour over very well.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla ice cream drenched in strawberry syrup. Taste is also astoundingly ice cream-like, very sweet, loads of that strawberry syrup flavour, creamy vanilla and chocolate, warming alcohol in the finish. Thick, smooth. Absolutely delicious. Really is like melted Neapolitan ice cream doused in booze. I often criticise the use of flavour extracts in place of actual ingredients but this is one stout where they just work. I suspect this'll have very mixed reviews, but I loved it.
