Bottle at Gurkha restaurant, Barnstaple. A relatively clean and well rounded lager. Goes well to tame spice of these lovely momos.

Bottle from wee local shop in Alfama, Lisbon. Appearance - golden and clear. Thin white head. Nose - hemp, corn, green beans and vegetable oil. Taste - more corn and now some bread. Green beans at the back. Palate - light bodied, rich middle and balanced bitterness. Overall - this is a more than decent lager, perhaps heading into Pilsner style.

Large bottle, 660ml I think, @ Avatar, a great Nepalese restaurant in Shrewsbury, with Ewan and Al. Clear gold appearance, good pure white head. Aroma of light lager malt, mild vegetal hints. Moderately sweet lager malt to taste, light caramel. Fine overall.
