Sharp rhubarb tartness mellows into stone-fruit flavours before gentle barnyard funk and a balanced, dry finish. The first release in our new Nàdar series of spontaneously fermented beers finished with a variety of additions showcases the sweet and sour fruit character of Scottish rhubarb in a complex, aged and blended wild ale.

The only garden I've had where rhubarb was growing was at a rented property in Forest Hill. Amber sour with a creamy head. Really good looking given it has a glow, although the rhubarb itself is quite light against quite a dominant sourness, but it's crisp and very healthy tasting.

Hazy amber, white head. Tart rhubarb in the aroma and flavour, a little hoppy. Tart, crusp, fresh and tasty.

30th May 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Share Evening in Chez Sophie. Five guys enjoying themselves. 375ml bottle, mini-sour brew that was golden and misty, wispy white head. Didn't really take to this, our second 'Rhubarb' beer of the evening.

375ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 22. Misty gold pour with small white head. Prominently spicy, herbal perhaps with mild rhubarb murmurs... not sure the herbal elements were intentional, slightly off-putting.

Tasting at Chez Bois. Thanks to Fergus. Light haze on this gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally crispness. Bright and tart rhubarb but also a weird estery bitterish paint thing going on. Light finish. Too skewed for me.
