Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, liquorice, light earthy. Taste is chocolate, light roast. Fatty mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Good!

Borefts X. Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Thin palate for an impy, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, a.little dark chocolae. Mild bitternes. Salty fish? There is a mild savoury vibe so apparently the fish were sparingly applied - probably a good idea! More dark chocolate and a little dark chocolate cake. Light finish. Nice enough.

Draft at Borefts Beer Festival ‘18. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, licorice and caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Beer with anchoves, but I think the guy stole the fish from the beer to put on his sandwich. Not fishy at all, maybe just a hint of siltyness. Great base beer again, of course; thick, sweet and rich, but not what I hoped for.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, licorice and coffee. Medium sweet, malty, rather roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee and licorice, followed by a medium long, fairly roasty-bitter, earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, straight-forward Imperial Stout.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige to brown head, bit stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit dirty, roasted, malty, alcohol, some grains, chlorine. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, bit sourish, lots of cocoa powder, coffee, little bitter. Aftertaste: chocolate, coffee, some caramel and vanilla, more chocolate. Not getting the anchovies, maybe for the better...
