75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Now we're farmin. Sherry barrels influence very nicely integrated, hints of leather, oak.. complex wild nuances. Very good.

Dorée, sur un léger voile pâle, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme sur un excellent mariage de barrique et lambic – bouquet complexe de ce Sherry de Jerez – notes boisées, oxydées avec un excellent bouquet Olorosso, finement épicé rappelant la cannelle, fruits secs, et léger apport de figue mûre.
Palais restitue fort bien l’usage de la barrique de Sherry – léger côté oxydé, vin cuit, fruits secs avec une petite sensation de noix infusées – pâte d’amande, finement citrique de la base du lambic.

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Luka, MiroB and Frane. Hazy yellow with medium white head. Lots of lemon, lime, juicy, not that much funk.

Small but persistent off-white head over hazy orangey-golden beer, veiled. Horseblanket/putteke/farmyard odours a mile out. Pastry crust, roasted apple, jeans' fabric. Faraway sherry cask and Belgian apricot buns. Horseblanket, watercolour paint, lemon, lactic acid, insectoid, wood, apples, semi-dry cider, felt. Faint hints at floormop Bretts. Acidburn and -thinning. Medium lasting flavours, well carbonated. WEIRD! Normally speaking, sherry and lambic are natural partners, but this is somewhere in the Bootes Void, off all charts. Clear golden colour. It's packed full of sultanas and dried yellow stone fruit. Loads of wooden barrel. Super dry finish.

pours a darker shade of blond. Scent imediately welcomes you to the world of Sherry - even more so, this is ACCURATE Palo cortado. Which is not given in ever sherry version, let alone the BA beer on those barrels. Nutty, oxidative, but not losing it's lambic base. Woody, easy drinkable,... This one's got it all. The intensity of the Sherry makes me hesitant to believe this is just lambic aged on an (empty) barrel, tastes more like a blend ( all be it a not completely empty barrel?) . Anyway, it's 'blended' just right, and I love the result.

Bottle shared. Slight hazy golden with big white head. Sour wheat, walnuts, oxidized sherry, apricot, soft funk, orange zest. Medium sour, light sweet. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Fra 0,75 flaske (den fjerde av i alt syv ulike fra dette bryggeriet), i trygge omgivelser på Mi2: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Malt, støv og pære i aromaen. I smaken blander karri, cummin og andre krydderier (meningsutvekslingene er nå mange). Hint av eik/vanilje, uten at det hjelper.

Ravfarga, uklår, kvitt skum. Aroma av urter, krydder, karamell. Smaken er prega av urter, krydder, eple.

750 ml capped & corked bottle, Boerenerf Lambic'ado Gueuze - Sherry vat series, 2023, Palo Cortado de Jerez, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7.05%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of brettanomyces, old attic, dust and oak, only a hint of sherry. Medium sour flavour, notes of brettanomyces, lemons, oak, sherry vinegar.
