American styled India Pale Ale that is big, resinous and stoked with amazing fresh hops. Copper coloured with a strong malt body and alcohol content allows us to lash hops at it and create a beer worth sending on a stormy voyage.
Malts: Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal, Wheat

Keg @ Sparrow Bier Café, Bradford. Hazy dark amber with a thin head. Has good tropical fruit flavours that feel somewhat stewed through its strength, but tasty nevertheless.

Bottle @Il Santo Bevitore (Rome). Hazy golden appearance with a decent white head. Aroma is fruity (peach) with notes of citrus, grass and some tropical fruits. Taste is light bitter, a touch of malt and a bitter and quite dry end. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. Halfway between England and America. Quite good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks rayaron. Clear deep golden with a beige head. Aroma of citric hops, a bit piney, a bit stale, with a bit of fruitiness. Sweetish flavor with malt, some fruitiness, some caramel, somewhat stale, with some bitterness. Medium-bodied. OK, not too fresh.

Keg at the Brewdog AGM 2014. Aroma is dank, spicy hop, hop leaf. Little vegetal note in the nose. Clear dark orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Flavour is dank, moldy orange skin, spicy hop and rounded out with caramel and toffee malts. Palate is sticky resin slightly chewy. Somewhat sweet and dank hops.
Bottle at home from brewdog online. Aroma is caramel, jammy hops, mineral, woodland berries. Hazed dark orange, light amber coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Flavour is caramel biscuity malts with jammy fruits, mineral, light chalk. Palate is medium full and slightly sticky sweet. Assertive smooth fruity bitterness. Tasy beer.

Flaske på rbhd-samling hos Odd Gunnar: nok en flaske maritimt importert av skibsrederen. "A beer for the flavour junkies" iflg bryggeriet selv. Krafitge humletoner med furupreg og faktisk litt salt. Mder interessant enn direkte god.

Shared bottle at local tasting, thanks to Holmen2. ABV is 6.7%. Orange to reddish amber colour, moderate white head. The hoppy aroma has notes of pine / resin, salt of hartshorn and furniture polish. The flavour is medium dry and hoppy with resinous notes, with hardly enough malts to support it. Still quite drinkable.

Clear amber. Slightly crude aroma and taste of orange, grape fruit and lime. Decently balanced. Heavy rather than refreshing. Drinkability could have been better.
