TCBW2024. Golden colour with a mediumsized fluffy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is fill, some floral, lemongrassy and mild white wine tones to it with a bit wooden tones too. Flavour is wheat, citrus, some lemongrass and mild white wine tones with some grass and mild alcohol sweetness.

44cl can, BB 16/02/2025, canned 16/05/2024.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 07/12/24. Moderately hazed golden orange topped with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is herb, orange peel, light yeast esters, straw, stone fruit tickle, hop presence. Taste comprises lemon rind, also getting that Sorachi bite, hedgerow, orange peel, grass, herb, modest yeast load, light white peppery spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a background hop spattering. Tidy saison.

Can from HoTM. Pours lightly hazed pale gold with a thin white cap. Aroma is herbal notes, yeast, minerals, light orange and a hint of Sorachi ace. Taste is light champagne notes, herbs, mineral, orange, Sorachi notes on the finish. Clean and refreshing with champagne coming through right on the end. Decent

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, very small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry, good minerally crisp snap. Thinnish malts, a light sweetness. The champagne yeasts balance out a mild citrus bitterness pretty well. The back end is light, fairly dry and crisp. Good, but, a one trick pony. Using champagne yeast is good thing in my book, just needs better hoppage to back it up.

440ml can. Lightly hazed golden orange colour with a white head. Aroma is a mix of spicy, herbal and funky stuff, vinous and citrusy too. Taste is the same really, spicy and herbal yeasty notes, slightly funky, vinous, white wine, some citrus and tropical fruits. Spritzy carbonation. Never tried the 2017 edition and I'm not familiar with the Bière de Champagne style having had just a single one before, but I enjoyed this.

Appearance is golden, bubbles rising, a half-finger white fizzy head. Aroma is yeasty malt, lemon, citrus fruit, floral hops. Taste is malt, yeasty funky notes, spicy hints, orange peel, sherbet lemon, dry bitter finish. Peppery hop undertones, nicely full/bodied. Reminiscent of a Belgian ale.
Yeasty, citrus, old grapefruit peel, papery
