Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A clear very dark reddish brown beer, no head. Aroma and Taste of bourbon, cognac, strong dark malt, grains, strong dark malt.

Flarra i hemmet. Ölen doftar vindruvor , portvin samt fin spritlagring. I munnen åhhh Madeira och portvin samt sherry utav helvetes. Så god 😋. Starkvins öl .

Sample at Billie's Craft Beer Fest, Antwerp 2024-11-08. Black colour with aroma of roasted malt, rye, soy sauce, Vegemite, vanilla and coffee. Medium to very sweet, medium bitter and faint salty.

Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, modest fine carbonation, which is fine for this brew. Smooth dark malts, a little creamy dark chocolate. The dominant flavour is tangy ripe fruit whiskey - nice. The vanilla is modestly served and that works well, too much would have made a mess of this. Slightly sticky finish. Nice one.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, meaty, vanilla, pepper, little green apple, taste is chocolate, vanilla, caramel, meaty, some fruit, a hint of juniper.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with almost no head. Aromas of chocolate nougat, vanilla, boozy rye, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of same. Very tasty but very boozy.
