Lovely stuff, highly drinkable. Pillowy pale malts, biscuits, white bread. Soft lemony hops, a nip of pithy dryness, mild rindy bitterness. I’m a fan.

(Cask at Kings Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 31 May 2025) Golden amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Hoppy nose with notes of citrus, herbs and Earl Grey tea. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, tea, apricots, herbs, white bread and a balanced citric/herbal bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a slight sweetness. Hoppy and refreshing. Nice one.

Cask at the Duke of St Albans, Highgate on 6th June 2025. Pale gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Aroma of some yeasts, and leafy hoppiness. Leafy, floral hoppiness in-mouth, and a little bitterness for the otherwise fruity finish with a citrus undertone. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading. My 100th Bristol rating.] A pale amber pour with a loose white head; grapefruit aroma; sharp lemony citrus taste with some grapefruit pithy; then a chewy bitter marmalade finish. Tasty.

Hand-pulled half-pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 20th August 2024. Pale/light golden body, almost clear and clean, on top a thin white layer of foam. Slight fruity nose and initial taste, all a bit thin and weak/subtle/bland to be honest.
