3/III/25 - 1Pt. can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ ElManana+1’s place, BB: n/a, canned: III/8/24, “BAVSHAKE” (2025-229)

Clear dark brown to black beer, small aery irregular brown head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, lots and lots of vanilla all right, some soy sauce, caramel, chocolate, cocoa powder. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice, lots of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, pretty bitter, a hint of cinnamon. Aftertaste: vanilla, caramel, sweet, chocolate notes, alcohol, a little oxidized, a bit malty in the finish, very nice beer!

US Pint can, bought in Bangkok and shared at Benny’s place in Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a round, frothy, tan head. The aroma is roasty, herbal, light vanilla. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, liquorice, herbal, coffee, light sweet vanilla, warm alcohol, liquorice bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
