Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Blonde with a head. It's floral-hoppy in both aroma and taste with some sweetness.

Can from Hoptimism mailorder. Spruce and resin aroma with added citrus. Hazy pale gold. A few mm of bubbly white head. Light bitter. Some spice. Some citrus. But muted. Light bodied. Thin but slick. A low key fizz of carbonation. Dry finish. Hmmm. Hype strikes. Alright but it's not very exciting.

Keg at Beer Merchants Tap, 08/11/18. Almost clear golden with a decent off white head. Nose is earthy, dusty fruits, lemon rind, straw. Taste comprises melon, dusty citric peel, light breads, grass, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

On tap at Beermerchants Tap . Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Decent hippy pale ale. Some sherbet. Some lightness to the malt. Good hop though. Not a lot of depth but very lasting lime zest flavour. Decent bitterness on finish. Decent.

Keg at the beer merchants tap. A light hazed pale straw coloured pour with a fading fine white head. Aroma is subdued, midget gems, grassy hop, simple pils little toffee note. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, grassy hop, earthy grains, grain husks,. Palate is grains, higish carbonation, little pithy finish.. Decent.

440ml can. Pours mostly clear golden, slight haze, small white head. Aroma is floral and citrusy. Taste is light sweet, citrus, mandarin, floral, grassy, grainy, some citrus peel bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation. I liked it. Unmemorable I suppose, but a good safe start for this brewery.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a fluffy, pure white head. Straightforward, with a strong grainy pale malt character, some flinty minerality, husky grains, lemon peel, straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Has some grassy and husky bitterness in the finish, nips of damp biscuits, more vague citrus peel. Fairly average.
