West Coast Pilsners are all about clean, crisp drinking with snappy bitterness. In collaboration with no/low heroes Mash Gang, this beer aims to achieve just that, with the added benefit of also being just 0.5%. Taking a traditional German lager base, we use Citra, Idaho7 and Nelson Sauvin in the dry hop for fruit cocktail aromas of pineapple, peach and white grape.

Quite drinkable stuff. Lightly sweet, some pithy grapefruit, lemon peel, pine needles. Pretty clean.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours lightly hazy bright yellow - gold with a small white cap. The aroma is fresh, bright, juicy, plenty of ripe pineapple, donut peach, melon, hint of lychee, twist of citrus, touch of green hops and biscuit. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness which builds and lingers, peppery spice, damp grass, herbal, citrus peel, pithy, zesty, tropical fruits, pineapple, peach, melon, cracker and a touch of floury bread with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Light body and average carbonation. Lovely stuff. Packs a lot of flavour in for the lack of abv. Good bitterness.

440ml can. Hazy yellow, white head. Aroma of of citrus fruits, pineapple, grapefruit. Taste is very hoppy, grapefruit, pithy citrus, grape and gooseberry, this is pretty great but it's drinking more like an IPA than a Pils.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from Siren and drunk at home. Light gold and hazy with a thin ring of white head. Citrus and tropical fruit in the aroma, getting a lot of pineapple and pink grapefruit here. Tastes bittersweet, with more fruity hops and a strong bitterness to finish. Nice light body and medium carbonation. Excellent for a (very) low alcohol pils.
