Bottle from Campbell's of Leyburn. Amber with a white head and a light fizz. Tastes of twigs, caramel, dead leaves, twigs, bread and twigs. More twigs in the assertively bitter finish. Really quite twiggy this one. Ok though.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear copper-gold with a small, foamy topping. The nose holds English yeast and lightly toasted malts. Light sweet flavour with more bready malts, yeast, leaves, faint grass, berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish, more leafy hops, some bitter orange peel, toasted grains, more English yeast. Sound.
