Pigs Ear 2025. Gravity. Hits the right notes. Brown bread, little coffee, toffee, earth. Nice balance. Very drinkable.

28/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark ruby brown with a very small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of milk chocolate, berries, dark fruit, toffee, light roasted malt. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness, tart edge. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice chocolate and berry finish. A very drinkable mild.

Cask: Poured a brown marble with a tan head. Aroma is rich malts, light caramel, toffee. Taste is rich malts, caramel, chocolate.

Cask pour at GBBF 2018. Pours dark mahogany brown with an off white head. Aroma: coffee hints, brown bread, nutty. Taste: dark malts, biscuits, hazelnuts, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light dry finish.

Sample@GBBF2018, London, with the Malmö crew - reddish brown pour with off-white head. Medium sweet and toasted malty, some caramel, biscuit, light nutty, dark dried fruits, medium to light body, medium sweet malty into the finish.

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 1 07/08/2018. Aroma is charred woody, thatched cottage, baked hazelnuts. Flavour is composed of vanilla. Charred wood, nutty vmaill.. Plate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation, ok.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 1, 07/08/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is dusty fruits, hint of coffee, brown breads. Taste comprises dark malts, light spice, stewed fruits, brown bread, biscuit crumbs, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light dryness in the close. Decent mild ... good flavour profile for 3.6%.

ABV: 3.6%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, nutty, sweet malt, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, fruity malt, nutty, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180807]
