Can. Very dark brown with a thin tan cap. Aroma of singed caramel, coffee. So it tastes, although it's not that sweet. Hints of berries. The slightly caught nature of the caramel makes it. Brief tidy low bitterness finish. Agreeable.

Keg at the Old Tailors, Barnsley. Mid-brown and mostly opaque with a smooth khaki head. Salted caramel - and not much else - looms large in the aroma. Sweet taste with more carame, fudge, a little bit of espresso bean. Slight body with medium carbonation. Not all that much to it but it's passable.

Deep, dark brown, near black, with a creamy tan head and medium roasted coffee on the nose. Velvety smooth and creamy, with a roasted malt and coffee taste, some chocolate sweetness perhaps, and a tiny ouch of bitterness in the finish

On tap at the Rook & Gaskill, York August 2019. Near black in colour, with a tight, off-white, head. Big coffee notes, some creaminess, a hint of vanilla oak, leading got a toasty finish. A good stout.
