500ml bottle (as a Morrisons, Oakham Ales American Pale; 4.2% vol). Shared with no one, poured into an abbot ale glass tankard at home on 26th Jan 2018. Clean and clear golden body, uneven white bubbly head. Piney hop aroma and initial taste, some malt action below the surface. No citrus hops? Very unusual for Oakham not to have at least one hop with a citrus leaning that tries to take over the flavour somewhat. Liked this.

T42 Christmas Bottleshare. Thanks to Coleeen. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Thin malts, mildly sweet and dry. Light pine and a little orange peel. Light hop spice. Light piney finish. It's fine but nothing out of the ordinary. Was expecting a little more from Oakham.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Cloin. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Then some holds crispy pale malts, lemon peel, straw. Light sweet flavour with some grassy bitterness, pine needles, dried citrus peel. Light bodied with to average carbonation. Finishes with moderate bitterness, dried citrus and pine, a little English yeast, crispy biscuits. Not bad.

Bottle at L42. It pours clear oily golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, floral, wet hop sack, hay, grass and some honey cake and bread. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, grassy, floral, herbal, peppery, spicy and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate foamy carbonation. A bit pithy and soapy. Fair.
