Bottle shared with dad. Clear amber color, average to medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, hops, a bit sweaty. Tastes about the same: malts, hops, again lightly sweaty, green plants, some bitterness. Hmm not a very good imperial IPA imo. Medium body and carbonation. Meh, disappointing.

bottle at home ... light copper ... thin white head ... odd sweet herbal orange nose ... big juicy fruits ... ligth spice .. long grapefuit ... but little sweet toffee caramel malts ... and quite hot

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place. 25/08/2015. Many thanks to Daniel from this one. Clear golden / orange coloured pour with a fading halo of off white head. Aroma is orange rind, perfume, farmyard booze and earthy pine. Flavour is composed of chewy sweet orange, tangy, some caramel malts, some warming alcohol, some pine. Palate is medium sweet, chewy, highish carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Dirty Danny. It pours clear rich amber with a small white head. The nose is rich, sticky, sweet, oily, nectarine, peach, earth and honey. The taste is bitter - sweet, oily, rich, candied peel, stewed fruits, boozy boost, toffee, light green hops, cereal and honey with a slick, warming finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. A bit sweet perhaps, but not bad. Boosty.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Daniel. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Dank ripe citrus in the nose, pale bread, pine. Medium to big sweet flavor, with ripe citrus, orange, oily pine, mango. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with more oily pine, some crackery malts, orange, nips of marmalade. A little bit punchy, and pretty sweet, but not bad overall.

330ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Pours clear amber with small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Taste is intense hops, a bit too concentrated and strong, and comes off more like a barley wine than a DIPA. Not too into this.

Bottle. Nose is sweet resin, mango, pineapple (rating with a cold so maybe off), honey. Not as powerful as might expected with a DIPA. Taste is full with a smokey resin note, booze, mango, tropical fruit, mint, herbal hops, caramel, and a lasting spicy bitter finish. Nice mouthfeel. It’s a very nice DIPA

Mayweather v Pacquiao bottle share night with Sarkynorthener & s_hartshorne; clear amber pour with a thin white head, tangerine and caramel aroma, taste is quite sweet, some tangerine, grapefruit, bitter finish.

Bright clear amber - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth dry malts. Herbal accentuated skunky hops. Mild crytsallised orange fruits. Hop spice. Traces of peel and pith. More hop spice before a semi dry finish. Intense and well hoppy but lacks the hop complexity of the best. Pretty drinkable for it’s abv.

Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Clear amber. Fine, thin, white head. Lots of very ripe, dank, orange hop. Some gluey, resinous herb action. Chewy, minty, toffee malts. Some spice, and some flora in the background. Taste is rich sweet, turning spicy, resinous bitter. Full mouthfeel. Plenty of meaty chew. Soft carbonation matches well. Finishes long, boozy, orange liqueur fruity bitter. Big DIPA with a Brewdog Hardcore slant. A bit lairy, and rough. Tasty gear, though.
