A Hairy Biker went to the same university as myself. Clear copper-amber traditional tasting ale, with a hop-malt balance and a malty-bitterness to finish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose. Pours clear, pale copper with a frothy, off-white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of toasted malts, a little English yeast, earthy and leafy hops, a little citrus peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, clean bitterness, nutty accents, earth. Tasty and drinkable.

A bright golden amber pour with a ring of white head and gentle carbonation. Aroma of malt, dry fruits with melanoidic edge. Similar taste with some biscuit and red berries and a dry finish with a little spicy bitterness. A pleasant rich, super drinkable bitter.

[50cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell.] A bright golden amber pour with a ring of white head and gentle carbonation; aroma of malt and orchard fruit; malty taste with some biscuit and red berries; then a dry finish with a little spicy bitterness. A pleasant old fashioned bitter.
