Deep amber with a creamy tan head. A bit of fruit, malty, lightly earthy hops. Medium bodied. Malty, lightly dry finish. Tasty.

Cask at the Strugglers Inn, Lincoln. Chestnut to amber colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are malty and caramel. Slight bitter. Medium body.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, fresh, sweet malt, earthy, nutty, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Fra cask på The Rake (Borough Market, hvor jeg bodde i 1983/84 mens det fortsatt var et frukt- og grønnsakmarked): klar rødlig kobber med ok skum. Røde bær, urter, hint av citrus og treverk. Servert ved kjellertempoeratur, lavt karbonert, myk og vennlig. Smudiknudi.

Cask at Darlington Beer Festival 2025. Gluten Free. Dark amber colour, biege foam head and aroma of malt, toffee, bread, doughy. Taste is sweet, malty, toffee, dried fruits, bready, caramel with tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium sweet malty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Blue Boar, Leicester mid-afternoon on 21st January 2025. Clear Brass coloured body, off-white crown. Malty front with a decent hop bite and bitterness as you sip it. Pleasant, easy going British Bitter. No citrus fruits were harmed brewing this.

Cask gravity at Tonbridge Rugby Club Winter Festival 2024. Clear mid brown colour thin off white head. OK brown bitter. Some ok malt flavour. Brown malt aroma, brown malt in mouth. Dusty hops on finish. Fairly bland but there is some character to that beer.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 10th December 2023. Coppery amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma with tangy fruits, this pairing continues in liquid pass. A caramel/nutty malt finish. Medium bodied with an engaging mouthfeel.
