A collaboration with Against The Grain, of Louisville Kentucky. A full bodied oatmeal stout, featuring a complex malt bill and smooth mouthfeel. Fragrant and spicy stem and whole ginger were added throughout the brew along with Orange zest and dried Orange peel . Large doses of earthy European and Citrus like US hops were used in hop back and whirlpool to compliment and accentuate the adjuncts. Deeply spicy, fruity and deliciously refreshing.

28/3/2019. Bottle shared at the Craft Beer Co, St Mary Axe. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, ginger biscuit, chocolate orange, brown sugar and moderate roasted malts. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Orange, chocolate and ginger combined nicely, pretty good.

Can picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham and consumed at home October 2018 Pours dark brown verging on black with a small to mid sized tan head. Ginge, orange and chocolate combine quite well here, a touch powdery mouth feel, good carbonation. Good beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

330 ml. can shared. Black, small tanned head. Nose is ginger, orange peel, perfume, chalky chocolate malt. Taste is chocolate ginger, candy, basic, nice but lacks some body to fully carry it, didn’t have as much gingers for me as it did for other, powdery chocolate, almost hint lactose.

Can from Fresh Fields Market Croydon and drunk on a train. Dark brown beer lasting tan head. Strong ginger chocolate orange aroma. Yes that is really up my alley. A light stout body with dark chocolate ginger and orange flavours. It's lovely. The finish makes me smile. Good ginger.
