a fresh piney nose with bready malt. The taste profile features some piney hops and a mixture of fruit, including citrus, berries and maybe melon. The malt is very soft, sweet and bready - not a bad thing for an IPA. The body is a bit thin, though and I wouldn’t mind a little more richness for a iipa.

Hazy orange pour, big white head.
Aroma of thick pine resins and a candied citrus zest, quite nice if it wasn’t enveloped in a boat load of buttery diacetyl. The body and carb are good, and pleasant. The finish is very bitter. Loads of pine resin, and bitter citrus pith. But again, the diacetyl rears it’s head.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy medium amber under a one finger white head that fades gradually. Nose is light bread and cereal with a good dose of pine and grass and a hint of spice. Flavour follows the nose with a light+ malt sweetness with a big grass and resin bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and chewy with soft carbonation and a long bitter finish. 7-/4/7-/3+/13+

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and bitter hops with some caramel malt notes is OK. Taste is a mix of citrusy and resinous hops with bitter hops and some caramel malt. Body is full with good carbonation. Old school IIPA with too much caramel malt and bitterness.

From the East vs West Brew Do For the Whole Crew at the Only. Golden with a little orange with a finger white cap. Hop nose of perfume and dust, corny malts. Taste malty with mild bittering, mellow on the drinlk. Overall vanilla, smooth with balanced hops. It was alright.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with frothy-creamy off-white head with good retention and loads of lace. The aromas are quite nice with lots of spices over the grassy hops. Citrus and light caramel form the base. The taste has the same things but with hints of vanilla, probably from the Belgian Ale yeast. Everything is quite nice here, with some well-balanced bitterness and dryness. Now, at 7.5% ABV. a real good Imperial IPA. Not on the same page as everyone else here so far, I guess.
