A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth lemony banana with light cloves. In mouth, a rather chalky example of a wit with some light acidic points, banana malt, a bit short. On tap at the Istmus Beer and Cheese, Jan 21 2012.

12 oz. bottle. $1.50 loose @ Woodman’s. So where’s this can they keep talking about? Well, poured a deep yellow with red tinges before the yeast at the bottom slipped in. Head dissipates quickly. Slightly tart and lemony smell. Taste kind of just sits there. It’s not bad, but why put your own name on this "product?"

I rated this one a while ago when it was being contract brewed at LaCrosse - not sure why the rating was deleted but I found my notes. Sampled from a 24 oz can this beer poured a very cloudy orange color with a huge yellow-white head. The aroma was sweet, peppery and musty with a fairly strong citrus element. The flavor was sweet and tangy citrus with light undertones of cardboard, pepper and must. The finish was dryish musty citrus. Fairly good body. Solid.

Another one of the many decent beers purchased at Woodman’s in Madison, WI. This is a highly drinkable but unmemorable beer, it’s the type of beer you drink to pass the time. There’s hints of coriander and clove in here, very unassuming beer that should be towards your last on a drunken night...the one you won’t remember but the one that’ll help you get tipsy.

16 ounce can from the Libation Station in Johnson City, TN. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a large head. Fizzy with poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of bread, green apple, apricot and other fruits. Taste is bread, citrus, green apple. Thin bodied. Hardly any spice or yeasty notes that make a good wit but not offensive either.

16oz can. Cloudy orange tan color, nice frothy head. Big-time aroma, lemony and citrus. Big wheaty Hefeweizen taste, very drinkable. Some corn and sugary tastes in there, but the big yeasty unfiltered aspect really shines through. A little funky with some trace wheaty sourness. Good value for a quality product. This is a well done beer, despite the gimmicky name.

Pint can, graciously given to me by csbosox. Pour is a very muddled orange ruby, with little to no head. Aroma of dirt, wheat and some very mild spiciness. Taste is artificial wheat, orange peel bitterness, spoiling vegetables and a weird metallic element I can’t quite identify. I guess what I am trying to say is that it doesn’t taste very good. Palate, what difference does it make, really. Thanks Chris? Reading your rating, I assume this was from the same four pack, what gives?

A city product. It is drinkable, not as terrible as one might expect. From a can. Gold color. Mild spice, with some coriander and wheat. Just a little sweet. It is drinkable, but not good. City made no effort on this one. RERATE. considerably better from the bottle.

Courtesy of Degarth. Can pours gold with light haze and bright white firm head. The aroma is a bit fresh and peppy to start with lemon zest, wheat, some honey sweetness and then alcohol from possibly too hot of a fermentation. The taste starts lemony fresh and that freshness gets crushed by wheat, honey and then chemical fusels that take the experience into a region we don’t really want to go.

16 oz cans? No way is this a belgian wheat. Processed beer aroma. Slight haze to an otherwise ubiquitous colored beer. Strongish wine flavors. Wheaty but not fantastically wheaty. Creamy head. Weird mouth coat. Just like melanie, isn’t it? Malt liquor finish. rather rude for a belgian, nudge, nudge, wheat. Did not find much if any sludge on the bottom of this one.
