Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre-Christmas / post-Pigs Ear holiday tasting of 2015 - London. Cheers! Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds sugary wheat bread, melon, tangerine. Big sweet flavor with pale bread, white sugar, melon, dough. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with more sugary dough, ripe lemon, lemon drizzle cake, more melon and tangerine. Full-on gear, but not bad overall.

500 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a big off-white head. Refreshing aroma of slightly acidic fruit like grapefruit and citric in general, pine and light spicy yeast. Flavor is sweet malt, citric fruit, pine, slightly acidic, some spices and moderate in bitterness. Fine balanced body and nice aftertaste. A bit surprisingly in flavor, not really a Saison neither what I consider a Christmas beer, still there is elements from both. Good, but more interesting than fantastic.

Bottle. Clear deep golden with huge creamy head. Aroma is orange, mandarin, spruce, lime, white wine and strawberry yoghurt. Taste is medium acidic, light sweet, light to medium bitter and faint salty. Body is creamy with smooth carbonation. Finish is long and orange juice-like acidic/sweet with notes of mandarin, caramel, lime and malt, but also spruce, resin, hazelnuts, grass and thyme. Very complex and full of Christmas.

Nydelig balanse. Farlig lettdrikkelig med sitt høye vitamininnhold.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a lacing white head. Tart, yeasty shampooish aroma. Medium body, yeasty, extremely phenollic and a rough bitterness. I wouldn’t have guessed 11%. 271214
