very very pale yellow, looks quite wattery. Aroma is quite limp, touches of lemon, and some faint corriander, but a big note of mealy, grainy wheat. The flavor on the other hand, is awful, this had to be an off bottle. Its getting a grainy, meally straight up catfood flavor. Stick your nose into a can of cheap catfood, and that is what i’m tasting.

Originally rated November 2008. Bought at the LCBO, with an added sticker written 5.5% alc./vol. Pours a pale golden-yellow colour that is hazy. Carbonation is decent, with a small white head that does not leave much behind. The aromas are very mild with little orange zest and Belgian white yeast. A refreshing mouthfeel that is semi-crisp. Again, not much to the taste. A little citrus, a little yeast and a little apple aftertaste. Not much here at all.

Bought this fall 2004 at LCBO. Hazy white with a thick creamy lacing white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast and lemony coriander. Creamy mouthfeel, sweet and smooth. Notes of bananas and light spices, lacking in depth. OK white.

This beer poured a cloudy pale yellow with a bright white foamy head. The first sniff noticed the usual yeast from a wheat beer. Slightly peppery with a hint of fruit. The first sip was watery and metallic. Sharp on the tongue. It had the usual yeastyness of most belgian beers. The finish was just of yeast and that was it. The palate was pretty much the same.

Deeply hazy - not quite cloudy, though. Pale tan colour, limited white head. Aroma shows lemon, coriander, wheat and grapefruit. The flavour is very citrusy - orange, grapefruit and lemon could all easily be inferred. It is bordering on being overtly sweet, but thankfully doesn’t cross the line entirely. In fact, the citrusy notes go to another level, a little bit of yeast kicks in and this works to provide a quenching, off-dry finish. Light-bodied and refreshing - a beginner’s wit that still holds some interest due to the lack of any hoppiness and the overt, wide-ranging citrus character.

Bottle: Poured a yellow hazy beer with a nice head that dissipated a bit too soon. Aroma is a mix of wheat and citrus. Taste is quite refreshing with again notes of citrus and wheat being the most obvious. Very good example of the style and very refreshing after this hot weekend.

Hazy pale gold, huge rocky white head. Skunky nose. Fruity and yeasty. Really didn''t like this one
