Can, 0.44l. Aroma of cereals, mildly roasted malt, coffee and licorice. Pitch black color with thin creamy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with light sweet roasted malt and cappuccino, follows by caramel, chocolate and faint herbs, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Thin, silky, but surely tasty...

Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, silky smooth texture, fine carbonation. 20/2/2021. Bottle shared at the third Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. Suffolk vs Norfolk. From Adnams Shop, Woodbridge. Liquorice a lot more prominent. But lacked body. Roasty finish. Different but still a 3.2. And 30/9/2025 again at the Cherry Tree.
