7 3 7 3 14Draft at BXL Beerfest ‘18, Brussels. Fairly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of herbs, citrus, spicy notes and yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

2nd day at BXL. Hazy golden with white head. Sweet malts, wet grain, wet hay. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Sampled at BXL festival. Hazy golden with white head. Lots of spicy yeast, creamy grains, herbal stuff, wheat, cloves, allspice, porridge, grass. Just medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with creamy feel.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is farmhouse and saison yeast, some phenols. Body is light and dominated by carbonation, phenols, candy, marmalade. Dry palate, yet altogether rather delicate in taste. Good.

Bottle. Fruity and slightly citric aroma. Hazy dark golden colour. No head. The flavour is slightly citric and fruity, slightly teaish. Some vanilla.

F: medium, snow-white, quick gone. C: pale straw, light hazy. A: malty, bit brett, light sour fruity, funky, lemon. T: sour funky, sour fruity, lemon, bit grassy, bit spicy, medium body and lower carbonation, more Sour/Wild Ale than Saison actually and in that way not bad at all, refreshing enjoyable beer, 33cl bottle from De Keyzer Drinks in Zaventem.

Hazy, yellow-gold colored, medium white head. Aroma is fruity, some spicy yeast, some malt, bit strawy and citrus lemony. Taste is medium- sweet malt, wheat, fruity, citrus lemony, bit tart, some spicy yeasty notes, light straw. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, bit watery. Some funky feel to it but nothing overly exciting. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours hazy gold, small white head. Aroma of bright saison yeast, citric hop. Taste is bright with a nice spicy character. Good moderate sweetness with sprightly citric shades. Nice.

Tap at Pigalle. Poured almost white, just a bit of white foam, hazy. Aroma sourish and funky, interesting interpretation of the style, something that I like quite a lot. Some funk and sourness in the taste as well, quite a lot actually. Decent and thirst-quenching saison, liking this!
