Bottle. Color: Orangish red, fast disappearing head. Aroma: Vinuous, wild yeast funk, wood. Taste: Moderate to medium tart, red grapes, grape skin, wood, tannins, subtle farmyard funk. Very dry, astringent mouthfeel. Spicy hints. Light to moderate sweet and medium to over medium fruity bitterness. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Very nice Grape Ale.

Tap @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto. Poured deep red/mahogany color. White head. Getting mostly redcurrants, some vinegar and tartness. Vinous with tartness, malts and berries in flavor. Some funkyness. Dry finish. Interesting.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20190711) The beer poured deep ruby red and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel, clove and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, berries, vineousness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, tart and bitter. A surprisingly tasty brew with gimmicks.

Sour ale with Italian red grapes - craft beer the Italian way indeed. From a bottle at Bierkoning in Amsterdam during Carnivale Brettanomyces. Some off-white, disparate, small bubbles at first, but disappearing quickly into absolutely nothing; misty salmon pinkish-tinged vermillion red robe, looking paler than I was expecting from a grape beer. Aroma of dry rosé wine, red grape peel, sour yoghurt, redcurrant, rosehip, blood orange. Tart, fruity-acidic onset, more sharp redcurrant-like than soft and musty grape-like actually, rhubarb and sour yoghurt notes, soft carbonation, smooth cereally maltiness, rather straightforward and dried by fruity and lactic acidity yet feeling a tad thinnish; drying finish but remaining juicy still, thanks to the grape element, though again it feels more as if redcurrant or other sour red berries went in here than actual grapes. Light funky Brett accent too, but subtly so. Italy has produced many better grape beers than this, not very impressed to be honest, but nothing technically wrong here either.

Bottle at the Carnivale in Amsterdam. It pour a medium amber color with red highlights, no foam. Nose: wild red fruit, vinous, a bit balsamic. Mouth is quite tart, acetic a bit, although clean. Not bad at all, a bit extreme imo. De

Bottle. Madama Beerstro, Bologna. Hazy, deep orange amber. No head. Nose has sour grape. Grape lees. Fusty brett. Leather. Sour red berry. Taste is sweet and tart in equal measure. Medium body. Low carbonation. The lack of acidity is pretty impressive on a beer with such a twang. Sweet and sour finish. Impressive stuff from this brewer.

Sampled at BXL 18. Thnx for sharing, everyone. Pours unclear, peachy amber. No head. Smell is full, grapes, bit 'plastic' taste is tart, full, grapes, bit herbal. Quite funky. Extreme on the grapes. Much better than the scent.

Cloudy blood red with quick fading head. Aroma is strong with funk and sour red fruits. Flavour is pleasantly tart and fruity with dry woodiness and dry bitter yeastiness in the finish.

Sample @ BXL BeerFest 2018, shared with Belgian RB crew, thanks. Orange-ambre, col fin blanc.
