Bottle at home from Dynamo. Pours black with a huge ass, thick frothy head. Obvious signs of slight oxidation and refermentation show both in aroma and taste, and even though the usual hoppy and dark Kernel characteristics are behind them somewhere, this is very far from where it should be, unfortunately

Bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours pretty much black with a thick, lasting tan head. The aroma is fresh and bright, dark roasted malt, pine, plenty of premium dark chocolate, charred vibes, touch of orange marmalade given some Terry's chocolate orange notes, mango and peach. The taste is firmly dry, quite clean and bright, pleasing bitterness which lingers, rich roast, toasty, charred, nice pine character, dark chocolate, cocoa, umami, some espresso, liquorice, pithy, zesty, orangey fruits, pithy, zesty and peppery spice with a dry, cocoa linger. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Exquisite. Flavourful, balanced and effortlessly drinkable. I honestly doubt a dry stout gets much better than this.

330ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Very dark brown l, slightly translucent with a large khaki/tan head. Smells of earthy dark malts, cherry chocolate, citrussy hops. Big flavours in mouth, with loads of hop complementing the intense malt. Sweet with only a touch of bitterness near the end. Coffee grounds, chocolate, berries and stone fruit in the aftertaste. Medium body with carbonation on the low side. Yes please.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Chocolate & lime aromas. Taste is toffee, more chocolate & lime, splash of burnt toast, light smoky feel which segues nicely into the finish. Interesting brew.
