16 oz can from Tavour. Nose is chocolate, roast coffee, vanilla with a hint of raisins. Black with a big, lightly lacing, cinnamon tan head. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly peppery, and a hint of vanilla. Nice.

As Bible Belt - Even More. Jet black colour. Big dense brown head with short retention. Aroma's: roasted malts, coffee, some fruit (from the chillies I suppose). Retronasal the chillies are there, with some coffee/mocha, dark chocolate, roasted malts just light sweetness. Flavour is moderate sweet, roasted, with light bitterness. Alcohol feel is moderate considering the strength. Drinks deceptively easy as a matter of fact. Medium bodied. Just a hint of chili heat. Long finish with roast, cocoa and light bitterness. This was possibly not too fresh, but with beers like this I don't consider that a problem.

Can (consumed on 7 Jan 2018). Pours opaque dark brown with large spongy tan head, strong mocha aroma with alcohol undertones, adequate carbonation, bitter mocha taste with alcohol undertones, cardamom and sweet molasses, thin body, long mocha finish with alcohol aftertaste. Potent and tasty.

Can at Valhalla. Pitch black, brownish head. Aroma shows obvious barrel, alcohol, simplistic, some coconut maybe. The taste is much better, chocolate with spices, just lovely, some alcohol, warming, mild vanilla... That aroma though...
