Rich aroma that really demonstrates the hallmarks of these two hops, dense with blueberry, strawberry and gooseberry, backed up by dank resin and cumin. Super-juicy flavour pops with gooseberry and lemon sherbet, leading to a lasting bitter grapefruit acidity, supported by hints of pepper and clove.

Bottle at home, cellared this one for over a year. Gusher immediately upon opening. Sure it was nice at some point but oxidation took over too much, cardboard and caramel show, with time it fades a bit, but stays too prominent still. Otherwise it’s got a nice acidity, cool funk, it’d be great, if it wasnt for the oxidation

6/12/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours hazy pale golden orange with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, gooseberry, tart blackberry, peppery notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle shared in Watford - cheers to Dan. Pours lightly hazed gold with a creamy white head. Juicy, funky, pissy, melon, peach. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Juicy finish, citrus, light tropical notes, salt, mild acidity. Excellent.

Bottle shared at Watford Christmas tasting. Thanks to Danny for this one. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white cap. Aroma is lemon, grapefruit, oak, funk. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, melon, funk, white wine, oak. Really nice funk with fresh finish. Excellent.

Bottle shared at the watford Christmas tasting 10/12/2021. Many thanks to Daniel osprey for this one. A light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Aroma is halo of white head. Aroma is nice bretty funk, lemon, rind, plastic, grapefruit, grass, waxy citrus.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy pineapple, lemon, fizzy pez sweet, bretty funk.. Really nice.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a hazy yellow with a white colored fast dissipating head. Aroma is fruity, woodsy, danky, resin, gooseberry, berries. Taste is lively hops, fruity, citrus, gooseberry, berries, tartness, vinous, woods, tangy to the finish.

Bottle at home, from CW online, 02/10/21. Hazed golden yellow with a good sized white cap ... lively pour on this one with a gentle slow burning gush offered. Nose is pissy citric shreds, perfume, brett, funk, white grape must, lemon rind, light yeast, damp oak. Taste comprises grapefruit zest, wood must, stoned fruit esters, sharp citric splash, mellow brett, on the turn melon, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic spike shrouded in dusty to grassy hop bitterness. Another thoroughbred from this most excellent series.

375ml bottle. Funky, fruity and slightly zesty with some citrus, mango, pine and gooseberry notes with loads of bretta, leather, oak and woody notes, farmyard musty yeastiness and tangerine. Quite complex and tasty, nice one.

Bottle. CW online. Hazed straw gold. Fine white head. Nose has grape and dark berry fruit. New hide. Lemony brett. Brine. Sweat. Stichelton cheese. Taste is tart and pithy bitter. Hint of sweetness. Clean and crisp on the palate. Fine carbonation. Lingering tart bitterness to finish. Glorious stuff.
