Bottle from Heinemann, OSL Airport. Dark brown with a large head. Aroma and taste of hops, roasted malt, citrus and hints of licorice. Also some notes of ash in the finish. The finish was bitter.

500 ml bottle from Gardermoen Airport. Almost clear, dark brown, close to black body with a big, creamy tan head. Lovely aroma of dark, smooth malt, slightly roasted and lots of pine. Flavor is medium sweet, smooth dark malt, mild roast, light, dry fruit and pine with harmonic bitterness. Some vanilla in the aftertaste. Fine balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. Well made, quite straight forward and really smooth BIPA.

Uklar brunsvart farge med høyt beige skum. Lukter av mørke bær, karamell, mørk malt, vått trevirke. Fyldig med mye ’bobler’ smaker av humle, kaffe, kakao. Lang krydret avslutning.

Bouteille 50cl du duty-free à Oslo. Batch#965, BB 10.09.2017. Brune foncée, col crémeux café au lait. Arôme au nez malté, grillé avec un petit rétro caramel, pointe de chocolat. Retrouve un agréable bouquet houblonné alternant fruité surtout dans les agrumes. Palais reste axé sur la malté, grillé, caramel avec un grillé qui est bien restitué. Le houblonné rajoute une note plaisante herbacée, verte qui tranche un peu avec le malté avec une légère pointe de chocolat amer en fin de bouche. Ce dernier reste fort centré sur une base porter.

Bottle, batch 965. Pours black, with a big creamy, mocha head. Aroma is hoppy notes of orange peel and grapefruit, dark berries, fruity liquorice and dark malts with coffee and some cocoa. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops with pine, grapefruit and orange peel, as well as burned malts with coffee, sweet liquorice and dark berries. Lingering sweet hoppy finish.

Bottle@Ungstrups - Black pour with big beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted malty with caramel, cocoa, burnt malty notes, hoppy backing notes, decent gear.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a huge off white head. Aroma is solid hoppy, dark malty and fruity. Crisp hoppy, bitter, smooth fruity. Dry and bitter, toasted and light fruity hoppy. Dry far finish.

50cl bottle from Oslo airport. Batch #965. Pours quite ugly dark brown color with a thin off white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, some roastedness. Fresh aroma. Almost ashy flavor, citrusy hops, pine and some roasted notes. Good drinkability, OK BIPA.

Flaske (batch 965) fra taxfreesjappa på Sola, hjemme: brunsvart med fint skum som holder seg pent på plass både langs glasset og i overflaten. Innbydende aroma av mørke malter, kaffe, våt granskog og overmodne bjørnebær. Kompleks og god smak med et hint av bitter (engelsk) appelsinmarmelade i tillegg. Tørr, porterlignende ettersmak, jeg heller sorgløst innpå.
