Tap at Tilt, Birmingham. Semi-hazed gold with fluffy white head, excellent retention. Stone fruit and citrus notes, good hop freshness coming through, some herbal notes, soft malts and a hint of red berries. Medium bodied, soft mouthfeel, fine carbonation. Very good.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours misty yellow-gold with a creamy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour, lean and clean, nice dirty citrus rind, a little pine, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, refreshingly bitter. Stellar.

500ml bottle from The Beer Shop St Albans. It pours hazy very pale yellow - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, peach, nectarine, apricot, persimmon, yellow plum and bready malts. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, snappy, touch green, pithy, zesty orange, orange blossom, slightly soapy, peach, nectarine, apricot, flinty, chalky, bread and dry oak with a drying finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Decent, but actually a touch soapy almost. Drinks well anyhow.

Just a light haze on this gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Light palate, feels a little thin and dry as Kernel PAs often do these days. The pale malts bring enough sweetness but do feel this. Peacharine hops bring light crisp pine into slightly floral peach and much lighter citrus note. Crisp finish. Nice enough but frustrating mouthfeel and slight lack of hop punch.
