This beer has been made by our team footstomping grapes in our coolships, fermented in our ex-wine foudres and matured in wine barrels. We have then blended the grape beer with some of our barrels of spontaneously fermented Coolship beer, inoculated by the wild cultures in our brewery, to create a complex and elegant wine and sour beer hybrid.

750 ml lilac waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, funk, lemons and sour white grapes. Very sour flavour, notes of brett, lemons and white wine vinegar, hints of oak. Too sour for me.

Bottle online from RAD beer. Pours light hazed orange gold with a foamy white cap. Aroma: sour apple, grape must, funk, oak. Taste: bright, towards dry, gentle tartness, light sharp sweet fruity, green apple, lemon, grape must. Medium body with foamy carbonation. A decent riff on what was a very fine base beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy golden. Barnyard, oak, fruitiness, cobwebs, citrus, sour. Really good.

Solliveien 130521. Unclear golden color with a white head. Aroma is funk, grapes. Flavor is funk, grapes, lime, funk, appleswood, white wine. Complex very nic beer.

Bottle. Unclear golden body under a small white head. Delicate funky aroma, acidic fruit, grapes, apple cider and wood. Taste is refreshing sour fruity, citric fruit, apple cider, grapes, Brett and wood. Fine body and same refreshing fruity aftertaste. Very nice combination of Lambic, Cider and nature wine, complex and delicious.

Bottle from Helen and Paul. Hazy rich gold colour and orange. thin white head. that is quite sour on the aroma. Little bit of perfume. in mouth it's not quite as sour. some grape character no doubt. Some warmth from the abv. I thought pretty good. Good character. Good sourness.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a coppery orange brown with a white head. Aroma is vinous grapes, oak, woodsy, funky fruit. Taste is tart fruit, winey, vinous, grain, cereal.

Panda at home thanks to Colin. A light hazed dull orange, peach coloured pour with a fading off white head. Aroma is big grapey funk, musty, mouldy wood, light mint, apricot. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mouldy wood, musty vinous notes, pinch of acid, zesty citrus zip, brown bready finish. Palate is tart, mild pucker, fine powdery carbonation. some acid lingering.

Bottle at home, from Rad Beer, 31/01/21. Lightly hazed orange golden with an off white covering that soon dissipates. Nose is tarte grape must, stoned fruits, hay bale, funk, grape water, damp oak, light acidic nostril tickle, damp alleyway. Taste comprises green apple, funk, hay bale, grape must, lemon tinged straw, moderate acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a light acidic tickle. Solid flavoursome and well balanced sour.
