Bottle from Great Northern Hotel, Peterborough. Pours attractive bright dark gold with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, grass, light citrus fruit and caramel. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness, with a hint of sour. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Increasing sweet finish.

From cask at Grainstore, Oakham, Rutland, with OGJ 04.01.18. Clear golden. Beige head. Moderate aroma, with meadows and mild citrus. Refershing and well-balanced taste, with pale malt, a hint of crystal malt, marmalade. Medium bitterness in fine and lingering aftertaste.

Gravity poured half-pint on 26th Aug 2015 at the Peterborough Beer Festival. Golden with a white topping. Floral nose with slight malty notes in the background. Taste similar, malty backing to the gentle hop front which has a mild bitterness in the finish.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear yellow with a white cream head. Lightly doughy nose, some vague citrus. Light sweet flavor with basic doughy white bread, subtle lemon, bitter hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, doughy pale malt finish. Supremely basic overall.

Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grainy, straw and honeyed cereal. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, oily, grainy, honeyed cereal, apricot and peach pie. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly mouth-feel. Simple, but drinkable enough low boost golde.

[ As Grainstore Rutland Osprey ].Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light to moderate hoppy, light to moderate yeasty, UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, malty, plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141008]
