Our 26th anniversary Imperial Porter was aged in bourbon barrels and dry spiced with Theo's cocoa nibs, revealing hints of vanilla and chocolate. Pomegranate molasses and cranberries complement the robust flavour with a hint of fruit and just enough tart to make you smile.

Bottle courtesy of a friend. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is sweet malt, molasses, liqourice. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich red berry fruit, alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Botle @ ZEBF 2015. This is a special one. Aroma is very fruity, with cherry and chocolate. Taste is really fruity as well, with cherry, grape, ripe red fruit, chocolate and raisin. Nice roasty toach to it. Good porter.

Bottle split at the 9.49 CBC boost tasting, Clerko, 03/06/15 thanks to Padraig G-boig. Light black with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is rich roast, light coconut scrapings, spice, dark chocolate, charr. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, molasses, charr, spice, roast malt, chocolate, red berry pangs. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well rounded impy with plenty of dark fruit, ABV kept well in check.

Bottle thanks to Manny G. Cheers bro. It pours darkest brown/black with a thick light tan head. The nose is soft, mellow roast, juicy vanilla, toffee, bourbon, chocolate cake, toast, fudge and toffee. The taste is smooth, sweet roast, vanilla, toasty, coconut, sweet bourbon, light booze, creamy, fudge, toffee, toast, dark malt tang and light alcohol warmth with a toasty finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Rather lovely aroma, but the taste doesn’t quite match up. Rather nice anyhow.

Bottle shared at craft beer co clerko. Thanks to Manny G. Viscous mahogany brown coloured pour with a thin fading light tan head. Aroma is nutty praline, milky roast, little green apple, liquorice. Flavour is composed of tart tangy dark malts, milky, little coconut, tart tangy finish. Palate is quite sweet and sour, moderate to high carbonation, full bodied. Not a massive fan.
