Cask served at the right drinking temperature at the brewpub in Hackney, one-third pint. Cloudy golden coloured body. Film type layer, fragile lacing. Sappy orange on the nose. Lemon and orange to the taste buds, some grainy malts beneath. Rather watered on the swallow. Better on aroma than on flavour (London 26.09.2014).

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 26th August 2014. Copper with shallow, off-white lacing foam. Very malty aroma with remote zesty peel. Fruity and malty in-mouth with just a hint of orange. Fruity finish with sweet berries and citrus notes. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Rated as a novelty ale.

Keg at the brewery taproom, 13/09/14. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is candied fruit peel, spice, bitter orange, mandarin, toasted malt. Taste comprises orange pith, straw, apricot, light spice, hint of bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Ok mellow APA, drinkable but lacks any real hoppy punch.

Very hazy orange - amber beer, little pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Tangy orange, some peel. Touch of lemon. Light finish bring very light floralness. It’s fine but falls a bit flat, lacks vibrancy.

Cask handpull at London Fields Tap. Some sweetness touch of real orange juice. Some zingy hoppiness on the finish. Rather tasty. Good fruit. Well balanced. Loved the real orange fruit that integrated well with the beer.
