A North Yorks version of the US West Coast hop-forward IPA. Bitterness is balanced by malt sweetness in our IPA and dry-hopping rounds out the aroma. Multiple hop types in this one, to justify the 'sunshine-in-a-glass' claim. Just what you need to brighten a grey winter (or even summer!) day!

23rd April 2015: 500ml bottle BBE of Sep 2015. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home. Slight haze to the orange/amber body, on top a full uneven white foam blanket. Hops all the way and very bitter with a hidden malty backbone that fails to temper the hop bitterness too greatly. I really liked it, the wife not so. Strangely I was talking to my daughter who lives in California while I was drinking this beer: it could have been brewed where she lives in Orange County such was the hoppiness.
