Sampled from bottle. Unclear reddish color, small beige head. Aroma is sour, r fruits, green apple. Taste sour, sour green apple, sour red berries, sour fruits. Looks like a lot of sour which it has, but also some fruitiness. Quite nice imo.

Bottle shared during RBESG 2014 - big thanks to Kernel rotbox. Pours clear amber with a creamy white head. Big booze-soaked berries, wood, bread. Medium sweet flavor with acetic berry burn, alcohol, old wood, raspberry. Full bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Warming finish with more acetic burn, ripe berries, sweat. Punchy stuff.

Bottle thanks to Toby. It pours hazy orange-amber with minimal head. The nose is funky, juicy, red wine, acidity, jam, balsamic, strawberry and more tang. The taste is bitter, sweet, tart, tangy, red grape, tangy, vinous, sherbet, strawberry, jammy, some acidity, wood and some alcohol with a dry, fruity finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Very nice. Good depth.

Bottle, shamefully forgot who sent it to me :(. Pours hazy red amber with TONS of floaties, small beige head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is tart cherry, oak, vanilla, funk, perhaps a touch of turpentine. Flavor is the same, fruity and woody, vinous almost bourbon-like barrel notes. Initially sweet, then dries out quickly to a very dry finish. Only lightly tart, with just a tiny bit of funk present and light astringence. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. ABV is quite well hidden. For me all sours of this class are held up to RR Supplication, and this one stands up quite well. Kudos to Avery!

12 oz. bottle, sent from Alen (thanks man), pours a beautiful murky dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out prominent red wine notes, complex wild yeasts (certainly get the brett in there), and some sour red berries. Flavour is intensely dry and sour, with loads of the different wild yeasts showing themselves, pretty much characterizing the whole flavour profile, accentuated by the red wine barrels which are not overbearing. There is also a bit of lactic acid in there which dulls the sourness a bit. Overall, very sour, moderately complex, and fairly drinkable - no sign of the high ABV. Good stuff.

Hazy darkish amber beer, tiny off white head. Crisp palate, a little dry. About as sour a beer as I can still enjoy. Vinegary lemon juice and tart fruits. Trace of woody red wine keeps things interesting.
