330mL bottle, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma has lots of toasted nuts, bready caramel malts, and a touch of dried toffee. Flavour is much the same, with red fruits, dried toffee, and bready caramel. On the lighter-bodied side for a doppelbock, but the alcohol presence is felt more than usual. Solid.

Getreidig-karamelliger Beginn, würzig, milde Süße, süffig. Weiche, eher trockene Herbe, dezente Bitterkeit, langer Abgang. Gut. 9/11/10/10/9/10

Clear reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of caramelized dark red malt, melasse. Taste of strong reddish brown malt, caramel, raisins, melasse.

Clear mahagoni. Aroma is oak light funk dried physalis melasses. Taste is sweet dense and boozy with light sour wood and later a huge boozy complex barrel stuff.

Bottle, enormous thanks Motelpogo! Ruby-amber body, off-white head. Creamy, fruity, flowery, slick, nice aroma. Lean, creamy taste, malty, lightly nutty and pretty clean, light herbal touches and light bitterness. The best of the lot!

Auburn with a creamy head. Aroma full of caramel with light notes of chocolate and prunes. Taste is mildly caramel sweet, finishing bittersweet with a hint of grainy bitterness, but the malts are firmly in charge here. Body to the full side of medium, nice chewiness, moderate carbonation. Not enough depth to be a top of the line bock, but pleasant sipping.

Zur Feier des Tages ein feiner Bock von Weyermann in der 0,75er Flöte. Optisch schönes Rotbraun. In der Nase süß, malzig, im Trunk gefährlich süffig, nussig, Trauben, Honig, hinten Holz. Passt zur Weihnachtszeit.

Bottle. Nose is caramel malt, esters, brown sugar. Pretty amber color. Flavor is caramel, malty, toasty, nice malt. Alcohol hidden. Enjoyable malt showcase.

Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, fruity, sweet malt, pale raisin, apple, sugary, light wood. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sugary, sweet malt, pale raisin - plum, apple, dry, fruity, bread, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140622]
