GBBF Day 3. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light palate, a little fine carbonation. Whisper of sulphur, nothing serious. Light pale malt, very slightly sweet. Mellow marmalade hops. Touch of floral lemon. Semi dry finish. Solid.

Cask at the British Lion, Folkestone. Gold with a thin, dense, off-white head; sour fruit and apple flavours and a peppery bitterness to finish. Not very exciting.

Cask Conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival Fri 21-04-06. Amber beer that gave a malty aroma and some malt in the taste with hops. This was absolutely fine but didn’t really stand out.

(Cask)Ochre-amber, clear; 2cm white foam, stable. Hoppy nose, British style, a bit dusty, vaguely caramel malt. Bitter; nice balance but the hops were not very noble. Light bodied but not thinnish. Nice, worth developping (that's more to the brewer than to the punter...).
