Tap @ Cardinal. Slightly unclear golden body with a dense, lacing head. Aroma has pale malt, moderate fruity hops and a floral hint. Flavor is super smooth pale malt, mild fruit and flower with a medium, grassy bitterness almost in the aftertaste. Medium body and average aftertaste. Might not be what to expect from a pilsner, but definitively a lager with a certain hop quality. And if you don’t care about styles, this is a nice, smooth, light but tasty beer, and that's probably the main point with this.

Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, weeds, paper, wet hay, minerals, bark, wet grain, old leafs, cereal, wet grass, old wash cloth. Medium bitterness, harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

From tap at Cardinal with JFE 14.09.17. Slightly hazy golden. Persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of bitter Czech hops, meadows and fresh grass. A pilsner like a pilsner should be!

On tap @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is zesty hops and pilsner malts with bread and toffee. Medium to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is zesty hops, with orange peel, as well as malts with cereals and toffee. Lacks a bit of malty bread and mouthfeel to be really authentic, but easily the best Norwegian pilsner so far. Put this in a bottle, and I’ll buy some!

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pale golden colour, white head. Very nice aroma of herbal hops. Dry and crisp flavour, well hopped, with a Jever-like bitterness, still with sufficient malts. Norway’s best pilsener?
