Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell - London. Pours mostly clear amber-gold with a foamy white head. The nose has grainy bread, a bit of wet tobacco, toasted leaves. Light sweet flavor with more leafy bitterness, rindy citrus and toasted bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with further lightly toasted malts and bitter earth. Not bad.

Euston Tap. Cask. Pretty much a clear gold beer with a small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Light floralness and zesty grapefruit peel. Clean light malt underneath. Finishes smooth. Easy drinking and tasty.

Cask at Craft Clerkenwell. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is brown bread, soft fruit, candied citrus peel and a touch of sherbet. The taste is raw bitterness, pine, peppery, grapefruit, orange peel, earth, resin and some astringency with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Punchy bitterness and pretty hefty stuff for the abv. Decent, but as drinkable as I would hope for...

Cask at Merton Beer Festival 28th February & 1st March 2014 Pours amber a little haze and to all intents and purposes a classic bitter in looks. A very nice session beer with the American hops providing a nice citrussy twist. Not a huge amount going on but thats one of the appeals i.e. simple session beer but tasty a little fruity and with a pleasant bite. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4
