Bottle at home. Sweet burnt toffee on nose, taste is dry malty toffee, light bitterness, excellent low abv beer. This was definitely one that improved with a few months aging. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cold Turkey on 06 Mar 2013 at 18:50 - Score: 8. Original review text: Bottle at home. Lots of flavour, bitter, malty.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours dark reddish brown, no real head. Aromas of grapefruit and toffee. Taste has a light bitterness and more toffee. Little thin, but not bad for the strength.

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours clearish brown with a fine, beige cream head. Toasty malts in the aroma, some melon, ripe orange, light roast. Light sweet flavor with some lightly toasted dough, faint pine, orange and melon. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Light juicy ripe citrus finale, with faint resins, toast, pine. Great for the ABV.

50 cl bottle @ Töysä. BBE 07/2013, rated on 06.07.2013
Aroma has hops, some nuts, malt, and resin. Flavour is ’greasy’ and a bit watery with malty notes, nuts and hints of resin. Some smoky and ashy notes at the end of the glass. Malty, watery and somewat hoppy – odd but not bad.

Bottled (from Ales By Mail). Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head, that lasts for a good while and leaves nice lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some floral hops and mild nectary notes. Flavour is quite a bunch of citrus, with some mild sweet malts. Mild syrupy sweetness as well. Surprisingly good for being only 2.8 %. I wish more of the 3 % or below beers would be this nice.

Bottle at home. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is pine, varnish, caramel, toasty sugar, tangerine and orange peel. The taste is pine, caramel, orange, mango, grapefruit, good level of bitterness and mild sourness with a smooth, dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, clean and light, yet pretty flavoursome. Well crafted low abv beer.

Tasting at ChrisO’s. Clear amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Very light crispy palate. Light sweetish malt, tasting slightly caramel oxidised. Mellow dried fruits. Airy light finish. Inoffensive.
