Draft @ Tilquin English Fest ’16, courtesy of and shared with the fine Belgian RB crew. Nasty and on top of that beyond BB. Dorée, fin blanc. Arôme de vieille levure et grains, fermenté de carapils, note de maïs, douceur résiduelle avec peu d’amertume.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, mittelgroße weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch wässrig, getreidig malzig, langweilig. Geschmack süß malzig, getreidig, plörrig.

0,5l can brought by gf from Turkey. Canned 08/04/2015, BB 08/04/2016. light yellow clear color, small white head. smells grains, citric, flowery, light stale, tobacco, light old berry notes, bread. smell has a light weird touch. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather sweet, tobacco, light metallic, light honey, cardboard, light citric. finishes with tobacco, cardboard and sweetness. overall wouldnt drink this again.

Big offwhite lasting head. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Light oily mealy aroma. Sweetish strawy maly taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel, faintly hot. Sweetish corn and straw aftertaste with oily mealy notes. It’s not bad. (0.5l can, gift from wife.)

Can. Greenish yellow with medium white foamy head, little malt aroma, high carbonation, slightly sour malt taste, abrupt finish. Not a very good beer, leaves an oily feeling in your mouth..

Clear gold with a white head. Aroma is very mild grain, sweet, maybe some lemon. Medium to thin body. flavor is pretty lacking but light sweet grain. A bit of an odd zesty finish. Not so much bad as it is boring. I wouldn’t buy it again cause it does have an odd aftertaste.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of very mild malt, some light sugars and a hint of lemons. Light-bodied; Rice and malt flavours show up front with a small amount of caramel sweetness and a touch of metal as well - fairly muted, but in a nice way - the alcohol is nowhere in sight. Aftertaste shows just the metal, malt, lemons and touches of sweetness - nothing bittering or unpleasant at all. Overall, a rather mild beer for having so much alcohol, but with the lightish flavours, a decent offering in this city! I sampled this 50 cL can purchased a few minutes ago from a small market here in Sultanahmet, Istanbul, Turkey for TL5,00 sampled here in my apartment in Istanbul on 18-April-2014.

0,5 l can in a hotel. Pours medium golden, and, for an Efes beer a mighty white head. Eggs and grain in the nose. Starts malty sour, light dry, a little bit alcoholic and, again, for an Efes beer an extraordinaire herb. Nearly like a real Pilsener. Later low sweetness with hints of hop. Relative longlasting body with light bitterness.

Fra boks og flaske i Alanya: fra boks eller flaske spiller ingen rolle, men boks er unektelig enklere på stranda. Havner uansett nesten utenfor solstolen. I godt nedkjølt tilstand er det en med sin solfaktor en passabel tørsteslukker på en varm strand.
