Matteo’s Ciao @ Craft Islington. Thanks to Matteo. Opaque black - brown beer, good dark tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Spicy rich dark malts, spicy dark chocolate. Woody bitterness and bitter bourbon. Little dark fruits, Rich and spiky but I liked it.

Bottle shared at the CBC Islington for the Matteo farewell tasting. Huge thanks to matteo for this one. An oily black brown coloured pour with a halo dark tan head. Aroma is woody roast, grape, white, meidera cake. Flavour is composed of Boozy cakey malt., vanilla, Palatr is very sweet, woody. Belgian yeast, tangy. Very good.

Bottle shared in London - thanks crew! Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. Light oxidation in the nose, dry cocoa, earth, mellow roast, dried berries. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with alcohol, baking cocoa, fruitcake, raisins, dried berries. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with bittersweet baking cocoa, scorched earth, more dried fruits. Great stuff overall. Punchy.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate licorice aroma with hints of bourbon. Roasted malty chocolate woody licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate woody licorice finish with hints of bourbon.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Struise Cuvee Delphine Cask Strength 4 Roses ].Unclear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white - beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, wood, alcohol, moderate yeasty, dried fruit, candy - fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, wodd - oak, alcohol, belgium yeast - candy - dried fruit, chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20161229] 8-3-8-4-16

Bottled. A a black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finsih.

Bottle@yesprs - Black coloured pour with small tan head. Sweet and medium roasted malty with notes of cocoa and caramel, some fudge, some bourbon infused wooden nuances with a touch of vanilla into the close. Lovely.

75 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and dark malty. Roasted mqlty, liqourice. Toasted dark malty. Lingering dark malty. Liqourice. Roasted and bitter dark malty. Roasted and dry malty, liqourice finish.

Bottle shared at deanso’s. Pitch black with a thin tan head. Notes of bourbon, chocolate, cocoa, coffee and some dark cherries. Full body, light carbonation (near flat) and a bitter-sweet finish.

Bottle shared. Near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of malt, bourbon, vanilla, licorice, caramel, oak, booze and light overripe dark fruit. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
