500ml supermarket bottle now just called 'Black Stout' but with same ABV and label design. Black pour with decent beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee, cocoa, some sweetness. Its slightly on the light side but still retain a mild creaminess. Taste of roast, brown bread crust, milk chocolate, mild prickly-leafy hop. Decent.

End of a long weekend of driving children around, dog walking and gardening. So the fire has been lit, the dogs are in front of it and this seemed to be rhe perfect beer for the situation. And it was! Great pour and good head. Perfect temperature from the garage and those malts shine through, with a perfect bitter balance of hops. Lots going on for a low abv. You forget how thirst quenching a good stout can be.

500ml bottle (as Black Stout, seem to have dropped the 'Oyster'): BB March 2025, drank at home while doing a BBQ in the back garden. It's black with a tanned topping and is 'Stouty' in nature, smooth, malty and fine overall.

On nitro tap at Alaus Biblioteka, pours black with a creamy small beige head. Nose brings out dry oats, light cocoa and earthy dryness. Flavour is along the same lines, with oats, roasted barley, and light cocoa. Smooth and creamy. It's solid.

Keg at Kane Doe, Östersund. What is this....remake a Guinness? Very similar beer, with a much larger darker foam head. The foam was unpleasant to battle through. Underneath, a very quaffable light stout and with a nice taste. (14/12/17) Keg at Jane Doe, Östersund. Had this a few times here now, an easy go to beer at a low ABV. 3.7 to 3.6.
