Bottle, shared in Frank. Deep golden, slightly hazy. Wheaty, spices, some ripe banana. Banana spices, not undrinkable, solid beer, but could be fluffier.

Bottle from the EDEKA Gerhard Wimmer in Jandelsbrunn, thx Fin for sharing it with us in Frank! Hazy golden body, biiiig off-white head, medium retention. Caramel and low phenols in the aroma, good wheaty malt profile but the yeast not adding terribly much. The body is lean to medium, dryish, more caramelly-wheaty maltiness, phenolic spicy notes, herbal bitterness. Esters almost MIA, but okay overall.

Bottle picked up from the brewery, Jandelsbrunn, Monday 10th October 2022, drinking now sat inside Frank at Hochwasser Anja - Helmuth Müller Campingplatz nr Deggendorf the same day. Pours hazy yellowy colour with a white head, wheaty from the off but a little citrus led, but then it softens. Okay but a strange confectionery flavour.

Bottle: Golden coloured with an orangey sheen, medium-sized off-white head, clovey nose, citrus-fruits, bananas and yeast underneath; moderate sweet-sourish flavour with a certain tartness, medium bodied, gassy; clovey and wheaty finish. Not my favourite Weizen......

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and tall but collapsing foamy head. Banana-fruity and wheaty aroma with shy grainy notes and a distinctive touch of fresh herbal hops. Mildly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Present wheaty and slightly yeasty taste with rather restrained fruity notes for a wheat but distinctive hop presence; bitter-sweet and quite dry, also slightly fruity finish with a herbal hoppy bite. Good. 21.VIII.11
