Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale gold colour, thin bubbly rim and aroma of pear, fleshy, floral, citric. Taste is sweetish, pear, fleshy, fruity, with some funk, floral notes, tart acidity, and alittle tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, tart citric acidic & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bag in Box at GBBF. It pours clear pale. Greenish gold with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, bright, fruit pie, tangy, barnyard, almond, biscotti, wet and wood. The taste is drying, oily, slick, tangy, boozy, tart, pear, fruit pie, melon, lemonade and candy with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit sweet for me, but decent anyhow.

Bag in a box at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours totally clear with almost no colour, just a hint of yellow, with some bubblage on top. Lots of pear skin in the nose, maybe some pine needles, ginger. Light sweet flavour with grassy bitterness, lemon rind, light acidity, some ginger. Light to medium bodied, with maybe a touch of sparkle. Somewhat dry in the finish, with a dash of vinegar, underripe pears, tangy lemon, more grass. Dynamic. Good stuff.

Cask (bag in a box) @ EBF21 2015, 21th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE. [ As W M Watkins Lazy Days Perry ]. ABV: 5.2%. Unclear matt - grey medium yellow orange color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy pear, tart pear, baking yeast, nail polish. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet pear, pear, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. Aroma is quit different from flavor - so much nail polish aroma and then more or less just sweet pear in flavor ... [20150809] 5-2-5-3-10

Bag in a box at The Berry Walmer. Hazy pale green gold colour. Some sharp perry pear aroma. Sweeter in mouth but still dry in the mouth. Lovely proper perry pear flavour. Some sourness on the aroma. It is like drinking unblended lambic but easy drinking. re rate GBBF 2022 3.7

Draught @ London Drinker Beer Festival 2014. An extremely sour, astringent perry, tangy with not much fruitiness coming through. Hard to finish.
