Tap at West. Pretty bright red chestnut, tanned creamy head. Toffee nose. Medium to full chewy malty base with a light sparkle. Pleasant toasted malt, light juicy, a bit caramel. Fitting grassy hop balance. Nice.

330ml bottle; BB St George's Day 2020 (23rd April). Drank on board a cruise ship off the Silly Isles. Red hue to the deep copper body, wispy head. Caramel esters dominate the nose, the taste is also on the sweet caramel side before the hops kick in with some bitterness and dark berry flavours.

On tap at West Brewery Tap, Sunday 11th February 2018 in the company of Nick and Anna. Pours reddy amber with a touch of haze but otherwise reasonably clear. Soft in the mouth, lots of toffee, a little banana toffee, it's quite nice. A6 A3 T6 P4 Ov13 3.2

Keg dispense at Munro’s in Glasgow. Dark red and clear with the tiniest cream coloured head on top. Almost no smell. Could be some malty berry notes... could be my imagination. I gave it a 3 for aroma because at least it’s not actively awful. Tastes nice actually and quite surprisingly! Bittersweet malt with some fruity hop. Well carbonated and a very refreshing body leaving redcurrant and earthy notes in the aftertaste. Reasonable.

Lovely amber-ish color with a fine off white head that last. Looks really inviting. Fruity, bready and malty beer. Quite ok balanced. Medium body and a soft carbonation.
