Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Rich brown pour with a lasting, light tan head. Mild roast aroma with some citrus hops poking through. Rich flavor, lightly roasty with coffee, baking cocoa, burnt sugar, some grass and citrus bitters. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming to finish, nicely balanced roasted malts and almost juicy hops. I would call this a British-style black IPA. Good stuff.
